How we do our bit to be green

We want Stretchaboo kids to have a planet to enjoy in 50 years’ time. So we’ve designed our baby grows with the environment in mind and have taken the green-friendly option wherever we can, even if it means increasing costs slightly.

We’re a new business and this is a work in progress. But here’s what we’re doing on sustainability so far.

🌿 FSC-certified bamboo. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials around as it grows incredibly quickly and needs less water than lots of alternatives. If you’ve ever tried to stop it growing in your garden, you’ll understand! All our bamboo is FSC certified as meeting it’s sustainability standards.
✅ Oeko-Tex Standard 100 tested. All our fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified which tests for more than 1000 harmful substances.
📦 We use recyclable bags and gift wrap. Stretchaboo sleepsuits are shipped in recyclable bags which can be popped into your recycling collection in most areas. And if you pick our gift wrap option, we'll use recyclable wrapping paper too.
⏳ Long-lasting. Ultimately, consuming less is the key to sustainability. Thanks to Stretchaboo’s stretchy fabric, adjustable arms and legs and high quality, we’re confident you’ll get more wear out of each size than many cotton alternatives. This makes them great value for money too!
